Settled matches have attracted more and more attention in recent years. But according to the Swedish Football Association chairman Karl-Erik Nilsson, measures have now been taken.

- If you had asked me ten years ago or five years ago, I would have replied that Sweden was Naiva but not now. Now this is working very seriously with this. From the clubs, from the union and from the authorities. However, it is ominous, which says something about how important it is to have the right game object. Serious play will minimize the risks of match fixing.

What further steps need to be taken?

- The authorities must make higher demands. But playing on individual match events like warnings or corners is completely wrong. If you can get rid of it, you have helped this issue a bit along the way. It is a threat to the whole football, not good Swedish football. It is a threat to the confidence of the product we deliver.

- Now you should be aware that thousands of matches are being played. 19 games is a lot, but it is not huge in relation to what we play. But that's bad enough, every case is one too many.
