Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal clinched a 1-0 win at home to Urawa Red Diamonds on Saturday in the first leg of the AFC Champions League final.

Al-Hilal owes the victory to Peruvian Andre Carillo, who scored the only goal of the match (60).

The return match between the two teams will be held on the 24th of this month at Saitama Stadium 2002, where Al Hilal suffice to draw or win any result to win the title, while Urawa need to win by more than two goals to win the title directly.

The winners will qualify for next month's Club World Cup in Qatar to meet Tunisia's Esperance on December 14th.

This is the third time Al Hilal have reached the final of the tournament since the launch of the new system, where they lost the 2014 final to Western Sydney Wanderers of Australia, as well as the 2017 final against Urawa 1 - 2 on aggregate.
