It broke out scandal scenes after the meeting between Nurmagomedov and McGregor in Las Vegas last year and both batsmen were punished with long shutdowns.

In spite of the least-infected mood, the Irishman has repeatedly talked openly about his desire to get a return match. Last month, when McGregor talked about his big plans for 2020 - winning two games and earning a new title opportunity at the end of the year.

Master Nurmagomedov does not seem as interested.

- I had ten matches in the UFC before I had the chance to compete for a belt. So if he wins ten games in a row he can meet me again, says Nurmagomedov according to ESPN.

"They have to apologize"

Russian, who defended his championship belt in September, also says that he is currently in negotiations to face American Tony Ferguson, who has twelve straight victories in the UFC.

That match has already been booked on four different occasions over the years, but has always been canceled due to injuries and health reasons.

- I was offered to go that match in Las Vegas in March, but then I want the Nevada Sports Commission to apologize publicly for the unfair punishment I received last year.

- If they don't, I'll go the match elsewhere. As far as I know, there will be a big gala in New York in April, Nurmagomedov continues.
