Former midfielder of Moscow “Lokomotiv” and the Russian national team Dmitry Tarasov was again in the center of the scandal because of his ambiguous statements. The footballer had to explain himself for his interview with the T-killah YouTube channel, in which he stated that he allowed the use of physical force against women.
“I was brought up in a good family with the right upbringing and traditions, so the topic of domestic violence is closed to me. I myself am a father, I have daughters. Therefore, I understand that in the future they will marry and they should be treated as I show them in relation to my wife, ”Tarasov said in a video posted on his page on Instagram.
He explained that the video, in the shootings of which his wife Anastasia Kostenko also took part, was entertaining in nature. According to the idea of the channel’s authors, the spouses compete in wit, trying to provoke each other. It is for this reason that the topic of assault in the family was raised, which, according to the midfielder, "he would never have allowed himself."
“I thought that many would not take it seriously. But once you have accepted, I apologize to you. I do not raise my hand against women and love my wife. Because to all the world, good. Do not listen when phrases are taken out of context, ”added the midfielder.

It is reported that his victim at one time was the former wife of midfielder Olga Buzova, with whom he was married from 2012 to 2016. So, according to unconfirmed information, conflicts in the family reached the assault on the popular TV presenter, who was forced to turn to law enforcement agencies. Allegedly, the precincts repeatedly carried out explanatory work with the midfielder, and the woman decided not to write a statement to the police.
At the moment, Buzova’s representatives did not confirm or refute these rumors, however, some time ago, in an interview with KP, the singer admitted that she really had to deal with domestic violence. However, she did not name specific names.
Tarasov himself made fun of what happened and asked the ex-wife to show him statements. “I was not her only man, so I don’t want to comment on anything,” the footballer said in a conversation with Kandelaki.
