After several years in a row with NHL matches on Swedish soil, the league chooses not to send teams to Sweden next season. Instead, Prague and Helsinki will be visited by teams from the world's best league.
Going to Prague, the Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators go to play the season premiere like Chicago and Philladephia did this year. Boston will also play a training match for the premiere in Mannheim, while Nashville will play in Swiss Bern.
The team that will play mid-season, like Buffalo and Tampa this year, is the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Colorado Avalanche, which will travel to Finland and Helsinki to play two games.
