In February there was talk of a potential match between Badou Jack and Sven Fornling. It was something that Jack himself then cut down considerably.
- I'm not focusing on anyone in his level. I don't even know who he is, he told SVT Sport then.
It is nothing that Fornling forgot, and now that he goes title match against Bösel he wants to make a name for himself.
- Now a person (Badou Jack) in Vegas will learn who Sven is, he tells SVT Sport.
Defending his title, and opening up for a potential match with Badou Jack who goes on December 28 against Jean Pascal, is something that attracts Fornling.
- It's a funny thought. If I do my job and Badou Jack manages and wins then it could be one of the biggest Swedish matches ever, he says.
And his big focus on Jack is partly because he wants to take the boxing back to Sweden, but also that he suits him.
- I know I can beat him and at the same time teach him my name.
