Sharjah team defeated South Korea SK Hawkes 29-22 at the opening of the 22nd Asian Handball Club Championship, currently held in Sam Chok, South Korea, which will run until November 17.
Sharjah scored their first two points in Group A, which also includes Kuwait, Zagros and Al Arabi.
According to the match schedule, Sharjah will get two days off on Friday and Saturday, then Zagros will meet in his second meeting in the group on Sunday, and then move on to meet with Kuwait Kuwait on Monday, before ending the preliminary round against Al Arabi on 13 November.
It is noteworthy that the first and second each group qualify for the semi-finals, and the rest of the teams play in the role of satisfaction to determine the positions from the fifth to 11.
