It was during the national camp in Nyköping at the end of September that it was added to Jacobsen's right knee. The 30-year-old is not yet back in full training and is now forced to conclude that there will be no World Cup in Japan, which starts November 30.
"It is very sad to miss the World Cup, but I have been forced to realize that I will not be able to be back fully and then of course it is not possible to go to a championship," Jacobsen said in a press release.
