Al Wasat Sports Center celebrated “Flag Day” yesterday, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to celebrate “Flag Day” which coincides with the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Maktoum's inauguration. Nahyan, head of state, takes office on November 3 each year.
Participated in this national event various federal and local sports bodies such as sports councils, federations, bodies and clubs, to express the extent of belonging and loyalty to the UAE and in appreciation of the wise leadership, and to emphasize that the flag is a symbol of the emirate's elevation.
