All Nippon University Ekiden Tokai Univ. Second win for the first time in 16 years Nov. 3 16:26

All Japan University Ekiden, one of the three major university relay roads, was held, and Tokai University won its second championship for the first time in 16 years.

All Nihon University Ekiden is called “Hakone Ekiden” and “Izumo Zen Nihon University Selected Ekiden” and is called “University Three Major Ekiden”.

The race was held for 8 sections 106.8 km from Atsuta Jingu Shrine in Nagoya City to Ise Jingu Shrine in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, and 27 teams, including two teams participating in the open, participated.

Tokai University, which advanced the race from the beginning to the top, took the first place for the first time on the same day, reversing the difference between No. 1 and 20 seconds in the 5th district.

In the 7th ward, Aoyama Gakuin University was reversed and placed 2nd. However, in the final 8th ward, when the third grader Yuta Natori got out over 4km and stood at the top, he ran away.

Tokai University won the second championship for the first time in 16 years with a breaking time of 5 hours 13 minutes 15 seconds.

The 2nd place was Aoyama Gakuin University, which was aiming for consecutive wins, and the 3rd place was Komazawa Univ.
