LONDON (Reuters) - Senegal's Sadio Mane saved Liverpool's Aston Villa crossings on Saturday and beat them 2-1 in the Premier League.

With this win, Liverpool have 31 points in the lead, while Aston Villa have 11 points in 16th place.

The start of the game was quick on the part of the two players, as they exchanged attacks in an attempt to score the lead.

Egyptian striker Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet succeeded in writing his name in gold letters by scoring the goal for Aston in the 21st minute, becoming the first Egyptian player to score for Aston Villa in the history of Premier League;

Roberto Firmino then equalized, but the goal was canceled after the return of video technology (VAR) for falling in the trap offside, and Aston Villa get out of the first half of the game 1-0.

In the second half, Aston Villa's defensive insurance performance with reliance on quick counterattacks, and was met by pressure and intense attack from Liverpool players in the search for a draw.
