Emirates Today and Dubai Channel are the first to qualify for the Dubai Media Incorporated semi-finals as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30 × 30 after the UAE beat Al Masar 4-0 on Wednesday in the second round of matches. Group B, Dubai Channel beat Al Bayan newspaper with three goals to two goals in the first group.
Emirates Al-Youm led the group with six points after winning in the first round 4-1 against Dubai Sports.
The match against the UAE today against Masar was brilliant in the form of goalkeeper Sayed Mustafa, who returned from a strong injury in the first game, and kept clean sheet, while scoring all four goals of Ahmed Al-Shafei, Mohammed Fouda, Mohammed Al-Hatou and Khalid Siddiq.
On the other hand, Dubai Sports got the first three points after beating Sama Dubai by five goals to four, while the second group topped the list in which the Dubai channel team with six points, after winning in the second round «Bayan» 3-2, while winning «News Center» on «connect» seven goals without a response.
For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Sports Committee Salim Al-Saadi, praised the performance of teams participating in the first edition of the Dubai Media Foundation Championship, stressing that it is a real breakthrough for a range of sporting events to be organized in the coming period.
He added: «Since the announcement of the organization of the tournament, we have found a high turnout of members of the Dubai Media Foundation, which confirms the success of the tournament before its inception, and it will be the nucleus of many sports activities that have been launched, and is underway».
The tournament will be supervised by the president of the sports committee Marwan Al-Hal, his deputy Salem Al-Saadi and supervisor Khaled Ibrahim Attia.
A number of sporting events will be organized in the coming period.
