The fall of 2019 was no ordinary fall up there at the top. Looking back, we will certainly remember the season for all the international trends that were cemented. Partly for how the metropolitan dominance seriously reached Sweden, and partly for the fact that the constructive teams were awarded for their pass-oriented and offensive football. But some things seem to be and remain with the All Swede.

You can take global trends to the Swedes, but it seems more difficult to give the Swedes global structures. For a long time it has been thought that the bulldozer in Swedish football, Malmö FF, is about to pink in his district as alone at the top and so it can be. But one must admit that the Stockholm Act has done its best to challenge that truth. Last year AIK won the SM gold and this year Djurgården popped up from nowhere and stands with one hand on the trophy. But will it be worth anything?

"Almost started as an April joke"

After eleven of the last twelve rounds, Djurgården has been the series leader. At first, it almost started out as an April joke that they can win, and then in turn turn into a possible outsider, probable SM gold candidate - and now a presumed winner. Here we are now, with a team without much experience to win the title that is expected to win.

This afternoon, up to 6000 animal farms are expected to go to Norrköping. They go there with the knowledge that a point is enough to secure the SM gold. They also go there with the knowledge that Malmö FF and Hammarby shade like wolves and will take the gold chance if given.

But there is no wonderful sunshine story for the hunting teams supporters either. Anything but an SM gold is a failure for Swedish football's biggest dragon Malmö FF. It may be that they lead the gold race sometime in the afternoon. It may also be that they then lose that lead. It may even be that they take back the trophy in the end. For Hammarby, the season is a success regardless of the end - but how fun is it to know that you made a success season when the rival took home the gold?

"Awesome resolution awaits"

When the judges blow in the afternoon, one of the most violent resolutions awaited by Allsvenskan awaits. At the bottom, Falkenberg, Kalmar, Sundsvall and AFC Eskilstuna will decide which team is allowed to stay, which will qualify and which two will leave.

At the top, Djurgården will do what they have done all season - be best not to underperform. No other team has been as good at not doing away with it. If the well-to-do people want to land safely, the Swedish Cup will land safely and Sports Manager Bosse Andersson offers one classic interview after another.

If that is not the case, we can expect allsvenskans two longest hours where the trophy wanders from Norrköping to Örebro on to Stockholm and then juggles between three locations.

How does that sound?
