Kalmar has had a heavy season and is still at risk of leaving the Allsvenskan, with a game left to play.

When they meet Sirius in the last round, the team will not be led by Magnus Pehrsson.

Today, KFF announced that Pehrsson has chosen to step down from his assignment.

"Because Magnus Pehrsson has chosen to step down from his assignment as head coach, Kalmar FF this afternoon calls for a press conference at Guldfågeln Arena," the club writes.

Faced by supporters

Recently, there has been a great storm around Kalmar FF. After the home loss to Falkenberg, he was confronted by angry spectators, and then screamed back at them.

The local newspaper Baromtern wrote as late as yesterday that there is a deep crack between the players and the coaching staff. The magazine wrote, among other things, that several players wanted Pehrsson and his assistant Jesper Norberg to refrain from leading the team in the match against Sirius.
