Christiansen was most involved in retaining Malmö FF in the gold match when the team defeated AIK at home by 2-0. He started on the bench after a three-week injury period, but came in after 73 minutes and set the 1-0 goal five minutes later.

At the end of the match, however, the Danish was injured after a tackle against Sebastian Larsson and holding the pitch.

- It's the same damage as before. It sits in the right bet. Last time, he ran a three-week rehab. Now it may be that he gets to run the double and that means six weeks before he is back, says team doctor Pär Herbertsson to Sydsvenskan.
