The fifth round of the Arabian Gulf League, which was unveiled the day before yesterday, produced 10 remarkable scenes, most notably Al Wahda captain Ismael Matar's assertion of his stardom by leading Al Annabi to overturn his late defeat against Ajman to a wide victory. Highlights of the round The presence of the Dutch national team coach Marvik to the stands to follow the players of the clubs, and to the survival of the Sharjah team «hero» of a severe loss to Hatta after the «King» managed in less than a minute and in stoppage time to tie.
