In the final round until Monday morning, Woods started the remaining seven holes with three shots alone.

The first hole, 12, seemed to shake for a while, but I caught a birdie in the 14th hole and ran away with three shots.

Japan's Hideki Matsuyama caught a birdie in hole 16 and narrowed the gap to two, but Woods did not allow any further pursuit.

The last hole was decorated with a birdie to complete the third shot.

Woods, who added the championship six months after winning the Majors Masters last April, won the 82nd overall of the PGA Tour, tying Sam Sneed's highest overall record.

After 54 years since Sneed's record for the highest score, Woods was shoulder to shoulder with Snead's record.

Born in 1975, 44, this year, Woods won 82 games in his 359th race in 23 years since his debut in the 1996 PGA Tour.

[Tiger Woods: I can't believe it's been 23 years since I won my first PGA Tour. I couldn't have imagined how to achieve the tie with the greatest Sam Sneed record today.]
