After losing Brage a couple of hours earlier to Halmstad, Varberg had a dream situation for the first time to be clear to the Swede. The "only" required was a victory against the bottom team Bromma boys.

But they did not succeed. Although Daniel Krezic already got a cannon shot from about 20 meters after one and a half minutes of the second half and put 1–0, Varberg “only” got a point from Stockholm.

Even match

Ten minutes after Krezic's goal, Dusan Jajic, nicely forwarded by Alexander Nilsson, fired a shot that went via a Varberg defender and past Hampus Elgán in the BP goal.

1-1, the match stood out and was a fair result. The match was basically consistent all the time. Both teams had sequences of game takeovers, and both teams had a couple of chances.

One point is enough at the end

With the result, both Varberg and the Brommapojkarna have exciting final rounds to look forward to. Varberg meets Mjällby in the final round, which tomorrow can secure an all-Swedish spot in victory against the last Syrian. One point is enough to secure a historically universal contract. But even loss can mean a decent game in 2020, if both Jönköping's South and Brage lose their closing matches.

For BP, the final round determines if the team leaves directly or is allowed to qualify. Right now they are in qualifying, one point ahead of Öster and two points ahead of Syrianska - which thus meets Mjällby tomorrow, and thus a match less played. BP meets in the last round of Jönköping Södra.
