Portugal managed to beat Russia in the UEFA odds table, the only representative of which in the Champions League, Benfica, won its match of the third round of the group round with the French Lyon. In the event that Russia does not regain its sixth position in the UEFA odds table, in the 2021/22 season it will be able to delegate only two clubs to the Champions League instead of the current three.
