Turkey's Konya Sport keeper Sirkan Kerrentili made a foolish mistake and received a red card in the first minute of the match against Yeni Malatya Sport.

The 34-year-old went out of the area and grabbed the ball to stop the rival striker, who was heading towards the goal to score a goal just 12 seconds into the game.

Kerrentelli realized that he had made a serious mistake, leaving the ball and headed out even before the referee showed him a red card.

The goalkeeper, who has represented Turkey on three occasions, was deeply impressed by the mistake, shedding tears on his way to the touchline, with the support of his opponents ahead of his team mates.

The match ended with a 2-0 victory for Malatya, and goalkeeper Kerrentelli emerged after the match apologizing to the crowd.
