Swedish bike star Emilia Fahlin last year turned four at the World Cup line race. However, the Swede crashed hard last spring during a training session in Spain and suffered a severe concussion. The damage kept her away all summer.

For a month, she became ninth in the comeback in France.

Today, Fahlin competed again, this time at the last World Tour competition in Chinese Guangxi. The Swede became nine again, when Australian Chloe Hosking won. However, the ninth place should prove to be important. This means that she will be ranked top-100 in the Olympic rankings, which will benefit Sweden at the Tokyo Olympics next summer.

- That's right. Emilia has secured a place for Sweden at the Olympics, says Confederate Lucas Persson to SVT Sport.

Sweden thus gets a place on both line and pace.
