PSG beat Brugge FC for the third day of the group stage in the Champions League on Tuesday (October 22nd) (5-0). Argentina's Icardi scored twice as Kilian Mbappé, who came in the 52nd minute, scored a hat-trick.

Paris Saint-Germain wanted to continue its clear fault and open the way to the round of 16 after only three days in group stage. With 6 points, PSG pranced at the top of its group, after its brilliant inaugural victory against Real Madrid (3-0), then the difficult success acquired in Istanbul on the hostile field of Galatasaray (1-0).

Angel Di Maria still at the top

Without Neymar, and star strikers Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani on the bench, PSG started the match in the best way thanks to the Argentinian Angel Di Maria. At 31, the Argentine international seems to be on a cloud since the beginning of the season. Brilliant against Madrid and Galatasaray, the Parisian angel scored last weekend in Nice his 6th and 7th goals of the season, including a lob made in full race.

Facing Bruges, Di Maria is illustrated at the beginning of the meeting in smuggler. After a control of the head and center left of the former Manchester United player, his compatriot Icardi only has to push the ball and deceive the goalkeeper while the Belgian defense is on the street (7th). Di Maria misses the frame and the break point in the 14th minute.

Big Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé was late in the match against Nice on Friday to quickly score his first goal since August 11. In front of Bruges, he did not wait very long to put the Parisians away after replacing the Cameroonian Choup-Moting in the 52nd minute. The former Monaco player put the ball at the bottom of the nets in the 61st minute and Icardi split a doubled right after thanks to a decisive pass from ... Kilian Mbappé (63). Mbappé hit the nail with two goals late in the game (79th and 83rd).

Paris Saint-Germain could slip into the round of 16 tonight if Real Madrid and Galatassaray drew. The Madrilenians snatched the victory in Turkey (1-0).
