The Egyptian Football Association announced that the national team coach Hossam Al-Badri has contacted the star of the team and Liverpool team Mohamed Salah, to check on his injury after his absence from the Reds game with Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday which ended with a 1-1 draw.
Salah told Badri that he will take part in Liverpool's training on Monday and that he may be playing in the Champions League match against Genk on Wednesday or the next match in the Premier League, the federation said in a tweet on its official Twitter account.

In a related context, the official website of the Liverpool club that the Egyptian star may return in Wednesday's Champions League match against Genk.
Salah was not called up in Sunday's squad for Manchester United because he is still recovering from an ankle injury sustained before the international stoppage at the end of Leicester City.

Liverpool confirmed that Salah was not included in the manager's account for Sunday's game at Old Trafford, but that he may be available again next week. Klop told Sky Sports that "Mo was not ready, this is what we are about."
"(Salah) couldn't train with the team, I don't know where everyone came with that confidence and they said he would play," Klopp said. "There wasn't a big chance for today, maybe for Wednesday, we have to see."
