The fight for all-Swedish survival will continue for Djurgården right into the final round. But the metropolitan team has much better conditions for a new contract after Sunday's match against Piteå.

At home at Stockholm Stadium, Djurgården had almost to start from the start when Fernanda Da Silva gave Piteå the lead already in the 13th minute, after she ran through and nicely placed the ball.

Just before halftime, the home team managed to acknowledge a penalty through veteran Mia Jalkerud, but early in the second, Piteå took the lead after a nod by Julia Karlernäs.

Wild cheering for the end signal

Nina Jakobsson then put 3-1 for Piteå with the quarter left to play, and the match felt settled. But Djurgården wanted to be different.

First, Tilde reduced Lindwall to 3-2 in the 83rd minute, and five minutes later Mia Jalkerud managed to push 3-3 into wild cheering. The result then stood out.

With that point, DJurgården stepped past Limhamn Bunkeflo in the table and onto safe ground, thanks to better goal difference.

Later in the afternoon, Linköping and Limhamn Bunkeflo meet.
