Brilliant genre by Douglas Lindelöw


Douglas Lindelöw, who won the World Cup class in Oslo last year, made a brilliant run for Sunday's World Cup premiere with a third place in the GP class. - Great fun, it's the first indoor competition so I'm really happy, says Lindelöw to SVT Sport.

28-year-old Lindelöw and 10-year-old Valack Cheldon accounted for two strong flawless rounds in the Grand Prix class over 1.60 obstacles.

- He jumped nicely in the first round and then absolutely super in the jump, says Lindelöw who with a flawless jump of 45.50 seconds put pressure on the other seven teams.

- Strong that he has again taken a horse to the highest level and is part of the battle for victories, says SVT's expert Lotta Björe.

Time finally reached third place behind victorious Maikel Van der Vleuten, 42.36 seconds.

Fifth place by Augustsson Zanotelli

Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli is back at five star level and has started the competitions in Olso brilliant. The 32-year-old has been second and third so far in two speed classes and struck on Saturday night with a fifth place in the GP class with 9-year-old mare Kalinka van de Nechtegaele.

Today at 14.55, the first World Cup competition of the year will be broadcast live in SVT2 and SVT Play.
