Pro baseball and Nippon Ham ’s pitcher Kaneko Kaeda signed a new one-year contract without exercising the rights of FA = free agents including overseas.
Pitcher Kaneko was 35 years old in professional 15 years and acquired FA rights including foreign countries last year, but decided to remain in Nippon Ham and met at a hotel in Chuo-ku, Sapporo on the 19th.
Kaneko said, “I didn't get the results I expected this season and couldn't meet my expectations, so I wanted to fight with Nippon Ham next season.”

According to the team, an estimated annual salary of 180 million yen was added, and a new one-year contract was signed.
