SC Cambuur has taken over the lead in the Kitchen Champion Division from NAC Breda on Friday. The Frisians scored 5-1 against their home crowd against TOP Oss, while the players from Brabant scored 2-2 at FC Eindhoven.
Issa Kallon, who had scored only twice in his career until Friday, scored no less than four goals for Cambuur against TOP Oss. The other goal of the home team came in the name of Robert Mühren and Lars Hutten saved the honor for TOP in injury time.
NAC came behind Eindhoven just after the break due to a beautiful goal from Joey Sleegers. Sydney van Hooijdonk restored the balance from a penalty kick, but Sammy Bourard then gave the home team the lead again. In the final phase, Roger Riera helped NAC to a point and Javier Noblejas hit the post on behalf of the visitors.
Due to the victory, Cambuur is at 25 points after eleven duels. Coach Henk de Jong's team is two points ahead of number two NAC, which still has to catch up with a match. The players from Breda will play against De Graafschap for their own audience on Monday.
