Real Madrid have made an "astronomical" offer to sign Chelsea midfielder Ngolo Kanti, according to Spanish media reports.

The reports added that the "Royal" has provided about 100 million euros in addition to Colombian James Rodriguez to join the player who won the World Cup Russia 2018 with his country.

The reports claimed that coach Zinedine Zidane was impressed by the performance of his 28-year-old compatriot Kanti and believes it would be a suitable option to strengthen the midfield.

The Blues have expressed interest in Broadrigues, but the club is still under a penalty imposed by FIFA for violating the rules of signing with young players. The penalty, which the club has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, prevents the London team from registering any player over the age of 16 in two transfer periods, including the next transfer window.
