African champions Algeria continued their strong performances with a 3-0 win over Colombia in a friendly in Lille on Tuesday, thanks to Riad Mehrez's double.
More than 30,000 Algerian fans rallied in the stands of Pierre Mourou Stadium and watched their national team keep their unbeaten record for the 16th game in a row.
Baghdad opened the scoring for Algeria in the 15th minute after a pass from the Manchester City midfielder, and the Qatari striker Al Sadd fired a powerful shot into the top corner of goalkeeper David Ospina.
