A source at Al-Wehda Club confirmed that the football company in "Annabi" decided to lay off the services of Dutch coach Maurice Stein, from the training of the first football team.
He pointed to Emirates Today that the results achieved by Al Wahda at the beginning of the season in the Arabian Gulf League contributed to the dismissal of the coach, especially as the team lost two games to Fujairah and Al Dhafra, while winning in one game on Al Jazeera.
Stein became the third coach to be sacked in the Arabian Gulf League, after Fabio Viviani was sacked from Kalba, and Brazilian Caio Zanardi from Al Nasr.
