Gnabry overtook Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, Barcelona striker Emmanuel Bonaventure, the Belgian club professional in Bruges, and Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi of Borussia Dortmund.
Gnabry was chosen after a brilliant hat-trick and scored four goals (Super Hattrick) during Bayern Munich's match against Tottenham in London, which ended with the victory of the Bavarian team 7-2.
