Volunteer training for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics next year will start on the 4th, and those who wish to participate in volunteer activities to guide the audience around the competition venues and stations in Tokyo are also attending the training.

Volunteers who provide information on transportation and sightseeing to the spectators in the vicinity of the competition venue, at the station, and at the airport at the Tokyo Games next year are called “City Cast” and are scheduled to work in the Tokyo area for about 30,000 people.

This volunteer training began in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo on the 4th, together with volunteers recruited by the Organizing Committee and working in competition venues and athlete villages.

Over 180 people participated in the training of volunteers in the city, and after explaining the tournament overview and the role played by the tournament, they demonstrated how to handle wheelchairs when there are steps and how to handle visually impaired people. I was learning.

The city will conduct a common training for more than 30,000 volunteers who applied for volunteers in the city until around February next year, followed by a training for each role and location.
