On November 29, a battle will take place between MMA fighter Alexander Emelyanenko and power sports representative Mikhail Koklyaev. Their conflict has been going on for several months, but until recently, it was limited to caustic jokes and mutual insults on social networks. And when the athletes met face to face long before the appointed date, they could not control themselves.

Sports blogger Azamat Bostanov organized an in-person meeting between Emelianenko and Koklyaev in one of the metropolitan restaurant complexes. About it became known a day later, when the media appeared information about the "brawl", and then the video footage of what happened.

On the video, future rivals swear, and then begin to throw a cap at each other. In turn, Bostanov is trying to reassure them, offering to sort things out in the ring. As a result, the strongman received an eyebrow cut, and the ex-world champion according to ProFC was not injured.

The instigator of the “brawl” was Koklyaev, however, it is reported that the reason for her were insults Emelianenko. Later, a representative of power sports recorded a video message in which he apologized to the fans for his actions.

The conflict between Emelianenko and Koklyaev began in March of this year, when the first allowed himself dismissive remarks against bodybuilders, accusing them of unprofessionalism and narcissism. However, as we approach the date of the official meeting, the number of mutual insults has increased significantly. So, a few days ago, an MMA fighter in a comic form called on the fans to support the opponent, as "he will be hurt."

In response, Koklyaev said he was ready to die in the ring, as he intends to fully defend the "truth" and sports principles. In addition, he emphasized that he agreed to enter the ring not for self-promotion.

Despite the loud statements of both rivals, many express doubts about the sincerity of their words. So, the first Russian champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) Oleg Taktarov suggested that the “brawl” during an in-person meeting is nothing more than a part of the show, necessary to further stimulate interest in the upcoming fight.
