Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has revealed the secret of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois switching between the two sides in a 2-2 draw at home to club Brugge in the Champions League group stage.

Zidane said after the game that Courtois had been switched between the two games because he was not fine, adding that the Belgian goalkeeper can not bear the result alone, but everyone - the first - bear the draw.

He blamed Courtois for the two goals scored by Club Brugge. Zidane described them as laughable, and was replaced in the second half by Paris Saint-Germain's Alphonse Arriola.

According to the newspaper "Marca" Spanish that Courtois suffered from a stomach virus, and he was unable to drive to return home after the game.

The newspaper said that the Belgian goalkeeper missed the morning training for Real on Wednesday because of the health malaise that caused him to be replaced by the game of Bruges.

The Belgian international, the winner of the best goalkeeper at the 2018 World Cup, and the "Best" award from the International Federation of the game (FIFA), has conceded 81 goals in 58 games since moving to Real Madrid from Chelsea in the summer of 2018.

Courtois vomited a lot and left the pitch immediately after the replacement with a relative because he was not in a position to drive.
