MADRID (Reuters) - Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez replaced Barcelona's late goal by an early goal against Inter Milan to win 2-1 in the deadly minutes by scoring both goals in the second round of Group F of the Champions League on Wednesday.

Argentine star Lionel Messi has been a key player for the Catalan club, although coach Ernesto Valverde said on Monday he would not take "any risk" for the player because of a stretching of his left thigh muscles.

Messi took part in the goal, which gave the Catalans a win at the Camp Nou, taking their tally to four points in second place behind Dortmund on goal difference, while Inter are frozen at one point in third place against Slavia Prague.

The visitors surprised the hosts with a surprising goal after a quick free kick to reach the ball to Chilean Alexis Sanchez and then to Laotaro Martinez, who started quickly amid the inability of French defender Clement Langlet to catch him, to put the Argentine left to the left of German goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen (2).
