Rugby World Cup leaders exchange ale before Samoa game Oct 2 15:58

Before the Rugby World Cup Japan vs. Samoa, Prime Minister Abe met with Samoa Prime Minister Tuiraepa visiting Japan and exchanged ales.

The meeting took place at the prime minister's office, and the two leaders confirmed their cooperation towards the realization of a free and open Indo-Pacific. It was also agreed that Japan would provide 2.5 billion yen in grant aid to build a new freighter in Samoa.

In a subsequent joint press release, Prime Minister Abe said that “Japan ’s current representative is riding a wave, so it ’s a great match. “I am confident that it will be,” said Tuiraepa, “we are looking forward to the game.”

The two leaders exchanged jerseys with the signatures of all the players, hoping for the good fight of both teams.
