Morocco's Wydad Casablanca fans wore black clothes and were creative in protesting CAF's decision to win Tunisia's Espérance Champions League title during their preliminary round match against Mauritania's Nouadhibou on Sunday.

Wydad's fans drew fantastic paintings before and during the match at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, ending with a 4-1 easy win over the under-challenged Mauritanian, to qualify for the group stage of the tournament.

The public's wearing of black was part of a systematic protest against CAF's decision to crown Esperance in the Club World Cup and consider their team withdrawn from the return leg in the final, despite its previous decision to withdraw the title from Esperance and return the match on neutral ground.

The crowd chanted slogans and wrote slogans denouncing CAF's injustice and accusing it of corruption. It also designed a "Tivo" model to represent their star Walid Karti, scoring the goal canceled by Gambian referee Bakari Gassama in the Esperance goal for offside. The Moroccan team withdrew from the stadium in the 60th minute.

Interestingly, who was managing the match Wydad and Nouadhibou arbitration crew from Tunisia led by international referee Sadiq Selmi.
