- It's fantastic and I love the reaction of the audience. There are so many there that I am so close and it was fantastic to keep hope in (Yannick) Tregaro screaming. The support you had from there. People want me to succeed and I could do that too.

One of those who responded most strongly was Armand Duplantis, who described the situation as something you can't teach to an athlete.

- It's fun to see how Mondo reacts. After what he did in Berlin last year, he can even be impressed, Bengtsson says, referring to Duplanti's European Championship gold where he beat the best and jumped 6.05.
