He was recruited as a prospective point king in Malmö before last season. The year before, he had won the entire hockeyall Swede's score with 51 points in 52 games for Modo. But in Malmö Emil Molin's first season ended before it even got started.

In November, he made his final match of the season. In December his knee was operated on and then there were no more matches.

But at home against Örebro, he became a goal scorer for the first time in ten months.

Molin snuck up at the far post when Malmö had numerical superiority. The puck found it after a smart pass by Fredrik Händemark - and Molin splashed 1-0.

"I definitely don't think the fit was diligent," Molin told C More. But it was just shaving it, a bit of a random goal.

"Felt heavy"

The goal laid the foundation for the home team's victory this evening.

At the beginning of the second period, the slop Carl-Johan Lerby expanded to 2-0 after a shot from the blue line. However, Örebro did not deviate, but reduced the deficit to 1-2 through Ryan Stoa. The reduction came during a period when Örebro caused major problems for the home team.

Therefore, Händemarks 3–1 came somewhat unexpectedly.

"It felt heavy, we had some dangerous situations there before," said Örebro's Marcus Weinstock to C More.

Passes Örebro

The home team, which had a tough start to the season, faced Örebro's pressure in the third period.

With four minutes left, Örebro took out the goalkeeper to become six outfield players after an expulsion for Malmö. Then Christoffer Forsberg killed the match by putting 4-1 in the empty cage.

The result means that Malmö passes Örebro in the table and climbs up over the line, which could mean the playoffs.
