Madrid - The Spanish league "La Liga" has set a very early date for the most famous match in the world, "Clasico" Spanish football between the two rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona on 26 October.
The match will be played at 2 pm Madrid time (12:00 GMT, 16:00 UAE time) at the Camp Nou stadium. The League has held at least a season-long match for the El Clásico early to allow millions of viewers in East Asia to watch one of the world's football matches. The Real suffered a humiliating defeat on the pitch and in the same month of last season (5-1) was a direct cause of the overthrow of former Spanish coach Julian Lopetegui. The return leg will be played in Madrid in February, but no date has been set.
