Brazilian Fluminense player Rafael Resende will arrive in the country this week to undergo medical tests in preparation for signing with Gulf Arab champions Al-Sharjah, the Brazilian newspaper said.

All details have been agreed with Sharjah and the Brazilian club will retain 30 percent of the player's rights, the newspaper said.

Resende has already worn Brazil's under-17 and under-20 shirt.

Sharjah are aiming to strengthen their ranks by signing the Brazilian to face the season in which they compete on more than front, including the AFC Champions League and the trip to maintain the title.
