On Friday, the award in MegAward will be awarded for this year's equality effort in the media industry at the book fair.
SVT Sport and Sports Manager Åsa Edlund Jönsson is one of three finalists, together with History editor-in-chief Eva Bonde and journalist Katarina Wennstam.

As the first female manager of SVT Sport ever, she has taken a broad approach to changing traditional structures, both on her own editorial board and in a wider circle by making demands on news and image providers. Her targeted work has changed the editorial discussion and contributed to doubling both web traffic and the proportion of women's sports on SVT Sports' platforms, ” says the motivation.
MegAward is an award given during the Book Fair to a person or organization that transforms and expands the media industry by challenging existing and traditional structures, business models and working methods.
