It was last December that 22-year-old Kläbo drove into a car that had stopped at a pedestrian crossing in Trondheim. He acknowledged the action at the subsequent trial and got rid of the card for nine months, was fined SEK 10,000 and received 16 days conditional sentence. In Norway, you have to drive up again to get your driver's license after receiving a sentence of over six months.

- It is clear that it gives a freedom to get the driver's license back, a freedom that I have not had since it was seized last December. Now I have atoned for my punishment and look forward, says the ski star to the World Gang.

Meanwhile, Dad has had to run the son a lot to get the training together for the championship-free season.

- I am happy not to have to drive John so much. It has been a good many miles with Johannes by the side since the car accident, says dad Haakon.

During the summer, Kläbo bought a house for nine million on Byåsen in Trondheim, left the boy's room, and became a partner with his girlfriend Pernille Dösvik. He has the training tracks around the house knot. Grandpa Kåre, who is also a trainer, has helped in the house as a carpenter.
