Lina Sjöberg was the oldest in the starting field with her 26 years and took the lead in the first jump round with a nailed landing. The second jump was also good and with the total score 71,600 she became the first winner ever in a World Cup competition in DMT.

- It was a slightly different competition, where there was no DMT in the warm-up hall, so there was less hope compared to what it usually is. I was sure of my second hope, but the first I haven't run since the World Cup last year. But the shape has felt good here during the competition, so I chose to run that combination, says Sjöberg in a press release from the gymnastics association.

"So impressed"

Sjöberg was afterwards praised by the union captain Jenny Söderlund.

- After last year's World Cup, this is Lina's best international competition. I am so impressed with her performance today.

In the men's competition Gustav Tingelöf finished fifth.

Lina Sjöberg is a big profile in DMT and last year won the World Cup gold. She also set the world record in difficulty with her new hope.
