After two initial losses, Malmö took their first win of the season tonight.

They did it at home against Luleå, and two players who were most contributing to the victory have a past in precisely Luleå.

1–0 in open box

The first goal of the match came in the tenth minute of the match. In numerical superiority, Malmö fired a shot from the blue line. It was returned, whereupon Johan Olofsson got control of the puck. He waited, aimed and basically gave Konstantin Komarek an open goal.

Austrian Komarek, who went to the ice hockey gymnasium in Luleå and then began his elite career there, made no mistake but mastered 1-0.

Shy Rautio

Fredrerik Storm then extended the lead to 2-0 3.06 in the second period, before it was twelve minutes later for another former Luleå player to score against his former club.

This time it was Lars Bryggman, who started his elite career in Luleå in 2013-15, who put the puck into goal and saw it bounce in via a stealthy David Rautio in Luleå's goal.

The 3-0 goal then felt quite the match decision. In the third period, Luleå tried to push for a reduction, but instead it was Malmö who via Emil Sylvegård scored 4-0, before Noel Gunler scored a consolation goal for the final result 4-1.
