Pavlyuchenkova beat Kerber and reached the final of the WTA tournament in Osaka
Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova defeated German Angelica Kerber in the 1/2 match of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournament in Osaka, Japan.
The meeting lasted 1 hour and 19 minutes, ended with a score of 6: 3, 6: 3 in favor of the 41st racket of the world.
Recall that Kerber is the winner of the Australian Open (2016), US Open (2016) and Wimbledon (2018).
In the final, Pavlyuchenkova will play with local tennis player Naomi Osaka, who turned out to be stronger than Alice Mertens from Belgium.
