The B-team of Juventus had a hard time against Hellas Verona and were awarded a penalty in the twentieth minute after a foul by Demiral. Samuel Di Carmine first shot on the post, after which Darko Lazovic hit the crossbar from the rebound.

Shortly thereafter, Miguel Veloso found the net for the visitors. The Portuguese got a falling ball in front of his feet and shot the ball of about 25 meters in the top left corner. Ten minutes later Juventus came alongside through a distance shot by Aaron Ramsey.
