Zinédine Zidane is greatly disappointed in the way Real Madrid lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday. The 'Royal' in France fell by no less than 3-0.
After a little over half an hour, it was 2-0 thanks to goals from Ángel Di María, who hurt his old club. The third goal in injury time came in the name of Thomas Meunier.
"PSG was superior and overcrowded us on all fronts. What bothers me the most is our attitude. If you start without conviction, you make it difficult for yourself," said an irritated Zidane.
"It is important to go the extra mile with a falling ball and win duels. Only then will you win matches. Today that was our biggest problem."
Real has had a difficult season and is not convincing even in the new season. Against PSG, the Spanish top club did not even score a single goal.
"I am not worried about the fact that PSG creates opportunities, but the way we allowed them to do so," said Zidane. "We knew that we would come under pressure, but had no answer and created little ourselves."

Tuchel praises strong PSG
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel, who had to do without Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani, was naturally happy with the big win over Real. He praised the star Angel Di María.
"But he has not surprised me, because he has been playing very strongly for a year. His left leg is extraordinary. He is always dangerous and decisive, but he also does his defensive task."
Tuchel believes that PSG has demonstrated for the first time this season what it is capable of. "We needed some time, but have now achieved a very high level. This was a real team performance."
Club Brugge-Galatasaray, the other match in group A, remained without goals on Wednesday. The next Champions League round is early next month.
