Jürgen Klopp hopes that Liverpool will not suffer the title defender status in the new Champions League season. The manager of the 'Reds' is curious how his team will deal with it.

"We don't experience it as a nuisance, because I have to say that I don't know exactly how that should feel," Klopp said on Monday in his press talk to the first Champions League duel with Napoli in Italy.

"I have never entered a Champions League season where I had won the cup a season earlier, so it will be a new experience. Hopefully we are ready."

Liverpool was last season with Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum in the final 2-0 team too strong for Tottenham Hotspur. "With the right characters within your team, it becomes easier to continue as simply as possible," says Klopp.

"It's a different story if you go crazy, use alcohol and drugs, drive other cars and leave your wife because you think," Now I'm a Champions League winner. "But that's not how we are. We want to Lake."

Preview CL: 'Lille had to laugh at Ajax transfer amounts'

Henderson: "Everyone always wants to beat Liverpool"

Captain Jordan Henderson says he feels no pressure after winning the Champions League. "If you play at Liverpool, everyone always wants to beat you," said the 29-year-old midfielder.

"And that is how we, in turn, want to win from everyone. In fact, nothing has changed for us. It will be tough against Napoli and we have to reach our top level again."

Napoli-Liverpool starts on Tuesday evening, just like Ajax-Lille at 9 p.m. Red Bull Salzburg-KRC Genk is the other match in group E.
