Primoz Roglic leaves the Tour of Spain 2019 with a real booty. The 29-year-old Slovenian cyclist will pocket 150,000 euros for winning the competition. In addition, it will add 11,000 euros for the green jersey of the points.
Meanwhile, the prize for the second classified, Alejandro Valverde , is 57,985 euros while the third, Tadej Pogacar , receives 30,000 euros.
In total, the Tour of Spain has distributed more than one million euros during its three weeks of competition, specifically 1,120,000.
The winner of each stage has taken 11,000 euros. In this section the great winner is Pogacar, with three wins, followed by Sam Bennett, Philippe Gilbert and Fabio Jakobsen, with two each.
Pogacar also pockets another 11,000 euros more for being the best young man. While the Frenchman Geoffrey Bouchard receives 13,000 euros for being the conqueror of the mountain.
In the team classification, the best unemployed is the Movistar Team , which receives an economic prize of 12,500 euros.
